Ski holidays with children
Winter offers for the whole family
In the winter, parents with small children love our children’s ski school that takes place right on the hotel’s grounds (visible from all rooms in the hotel). There’s a carousel, ski lift, snow machine and complete cooling system which means the toddler ski school can operate from December to April with perfect snow conditions.
Toddler ski school (2.5-3.9 years)
Even small children needn’t miss out on a proper ski holiday with the family. One of a kind in the world: The roof of our underground parking garage is cooled and covered with snow! We then teach the youngest children how to ski in a fun way. Beginner lessons with a maximum of 6 children per instructor take place in the hotel grounds.
1 day €45 | 2 days €80 | 3 days €110 | 4 days €140 | 5 days €170 | 6 days €195
Children’s ski school (4-6.9 years)
We will drop off and pick up children from Bobo’s ski lessons and lunch is provided. This gives parents the whole day to themselves!
Theatre or not: Skiing is Bobo’s world. His skis bend upwards at the front and the belt lift is easy to use. Bobo is a cool guy and the mascot of the ski school where the little ones learn the right way to turn through the snow whilst having fun. Turn your shoulders, bend your knees and stay cheerful – the trained children’s ski instructors know all the tricks to ensure the little ones get the hang of it quickly. They can then show off their skills in a fun ski race.
A children’s ski pass is free up to 5 years old. Our in-house ski rental service will help you save space when packing for your winter holiday.
FREE tiny tots skiing course (2 ½ – 3 ½ years):
(for children from age 2 ½ until 3 ½)
When you book a stay of at least 7 nights we will include a toddler ski lesson and a complete set of rental equipment (skis, boots and helmet) at no extra cost. (Valid from 15.03. bis 05.04.2025)
Family snow holiday with a toboggan run
On the Grubigstein opposite you will find the longest nature toboggan run in the Tirol Zugspitz Arena. The entrance is located at the middle station of the Grubigstein cable car. From there the toboggan run leads straight down to the bottom station of the Hochmoosexpress cable car.
The toboggan run goes for an incredible 2.4 kilometres with a drop in height of 330 metres and provides fun for everyone. You can use a normal ski ticket to get up the mountain or, alternatively, the cable car operators offer a separate price for using just the toboggan run. At our reception, you can get all information about the snow conditions on the toboggan run, as the path itself is not artificially snow-covered.
Horse-drawn sleigh ride
A horse-drawn sleigh ride is a wonderfully romantic way to explore the valley. All wrapped up in blankets you can experience the fantastic winter panorama at the foot of the Zugspitze. This is an experience that cannot be missed and we will be happy to book it for you at reception.
